Sock & Underwear Tree

Mitten Tree is now the Sock & Underwear Tree

In years past the Service Team has sponsored the Mitten Tree collecting mittens, gloves, hat and scarves for low income children.  This year the focus of the tree is SOCKS AND UNDERWEAR (ages 3 through high school).  At the conclusion of Advent, these 'decorations' will be donated to Clothes for Kids, a non-profit agency that services children of low income families in Snohomish County,  (www.clothesforkids.org) by providing school wardrobes.  This agency tries to give each child 3 pair of new socks and underwear.  You are invited to worship with us at HLUMC and help us "decorate" this tree.
