Tent City 3
Tent City3 is an encampment of approximately 100 homeless people who live in tents and who survive with the assistance of churches such as ours, who host their visits, and the help of local community members who provide help in various forms.
Soup and Bread Lunch
On the third Sunday of each month from September through May, delicious homemade Soup and Bread is served to those in the congregation hankering for a tasty lunch and fellowship.
"P" Patch
A parcel of our property, the southeast corner bordering First Ave. NE, is leased by the city of Seattle for the Haller Lake "P" Patch.
Food Bank
Each Sunday members and friends of our church bring food items to share with the food bank in Lake City.
United Methodist Women's Missions
The UMW Unit of the Haller Lake United Methodist Church makes and meets a pledge of $3200 to missions annually. In addition we make annual monetary contributions to the Deaconess Children's Services, Atlantic Street Center, Church of Mary Magdalene, and other organizations as the need arises.
