Teams & Ministries

Our church organization - click to enlarge

The work of our church is carried out by committees and teams as shown on the organization chart. Each team/committee plans for functions/programs that relate to their areas of concern at their monthly meetings. The facilitator or a representative of each group is a member of the Leadership Team which meets monthly to approve recommendations from the teams and to coordinate functions and dates on the calendar. The Committee on Nominations and Leadership Development (formerly Committee on Lay Leadership) nominates persons to serve on the teams/committees and persons to serve as facilitator of each group. Elections are held at the All Church Conference once a year in November or December. The term for those elected begins in January of each year.

To have continuity we have three groups of members on each team. Each year one group has completed their service and a new group is voted in. Two thirds of the team remain to work with the new members. The Pastor is the chair of the Lay Leaders Team.
