Summer

Vacation Bible School

Sign up for Vacation Bible School July 13th-17th.

Haller Lake United Methodist Church invites all children from four years old through those ending fifth grade to join us at VBS - July 13-17 from 9 a.m. to noon. Spread the word to neighbors, grandchildren, friends. At Camp E.D.G.E. (Experience and Discover God Everywhere) the children will begin an extreme camp adventure where they will come to know that their strength and might come from God. Children will extend their learning through music, craft, Bible storytelling, and science activities. Delicious snacks and rec time will also be included.

Registration forms are available at the church or online (PDF). We look forward to seeing you this summer at "camp." Come and experience and discover God in many ways and learn to “live on the E.D.G.E.” every day!

Tent City

Tent City3, a tent shelter community for homeless men and women, has stayed at Haller Lake United Methodist Church several times over the past few years. When they are our guests, we in the congregation provide hot meals every Sunday evening, and we continue to provide meal service to Tent City3 at other locations as well. The coordinator for this effort, Cathy, warmly invites all who would like to be involved to share in the preparation and/or the costs of the meals. Donations by check may be made to Haller Lake UMC with a memo indicating food for TC3. For ways in which you might be more personally involved, please send us an email or call the church office weekdays at 206 362-5383.

Current Location:
St Mark's Episcopal Church
1245 10th Ave E.
Seattle, WA 98102

The folks at Tent City are self-governing, and they welcome visits from neighbors. To visit TC3, go first to the welcome tent, near where the flag proudly waves. There is usually someone there who can answer your questions and let you know what the community's needs are. In times past they have requested batteries (C and D) and ice. They also welcome blankets and clothing.

Bless you for joining with us in this important ministry.
